Huge reserves of understated power and the finest tradition of British coachbuilding come together in the Bentley Arnage range of three Grand Touring saloons, each with its own distinctive character and style. Whether it's the high performance Arnage T, the beautifully refined Arnage R or the stately Arnage RL, no other car can be hand-built to customer requirements with such delicacy and care.

Exterior
Apart from the beautiful grain of unbleached Burr Walnut, which remains the classic Bentley veneer, there are seven other choices in our standard range. Through Bentley Mulliner, you are welcome to discuss any other possibilities you may have in mind - a tree from your own forest, perhaps.

Depending on the model, a sophisticated range of 18" and 19" alloy wheels are available for the finish you require.

Interior
Whatever your choice, it will take two weeks to prepare the wood and several more days to apply the five coats of lacquer. Exquisite details of wood inlay are another unique feature of the Arnage range. For the interior trim you can now choose from among 27 colours of premium leather hide, with sixteen secondary hides to complement the main colour scheme. It takes seventeen hides of the softest, unblemished leather to complete a standard Arnage interior. Extras such as cocktail compartments, document storage and rear cushion box stowage will take several more. Your choice of shades for seatbelts, carpets and lambswool rugs will further enhance the ambience of your Arnage interior. The standard options for the finishes of the Arnage cabin are provided only as a guide. With the help of a Mulliner consultant, or your local dealer, you can commission virtually any colour or trim imaginable.

Unsurprisingly, the choice of technologies available for the Arnage interior is almost as wide as the choice of finishes. It includes a range of top-end audio and DVD installations, a variety of LCD TV screens, and the most advanced satellite navigation systems. Through the services of Bentley Mulliner, there is an enormous range of possibility for the installation of various technologies into the car.

Performance
The Arnage R and RL are equipped as standard with a 450bhp (336kW) version of Bentley's renowned 6.75 litre V8 engine, generating a remarkable 645lb ft (875Nm) of torque at just 1,800rpm. This translates into a maximum speed of 168mph (270km/h) and a 0-60mph time of just 5.5 seconds and 5.7 seconds respectively for the Arnage R and RL. The Arnage T is even more powerful. With 500bhp (373kW) and an astonishing 738lb ft (1,000Nm) of torque at 3,200rpm, it is one of the most powerful cars in the world. A maximum speed of 179mph (288km/h) and a 0-60mph time of just 5.2 seconds underline its sporting prowess.

Engine
To suit the different characteristics of the models within the Arnage range, the famous Crewe-built 6.75 litre V8 engine is delivered in two distinct tunes, both boasting twin-turbochargers.
Torque: More than anything else it is the torque, not the horsepower figures alone, that gives the Bentley engine its inimitable feel of effortless performance.

Craftsmanship
Determining the specification of an Arnage has been referred to as "like having your own private car company". Since every Arnage is hand-built to order, the possibilities for personalising your car are virtually limitless.

Timeless Tradition
The name Mulliner has been synonymous with the finest coachbuilding traditions for over two centuries. Indeed, the Mulliner history pre-dates the invention of the steam engine, never mind the internal combustion engine.
Leather Hides: There are 27 colours in the standard range of leather hides available for the Arnage, although Bentley can match almost any colour you choose.
Veneers: Up to 6.2 square metres of veneer is used in every standard Arnage, each wood-set taking approximately sixty hours to complete.
